Connecting QuickBooks. Four steps, one click that matters.
You authorize this yourself, inside your own QuickBooks. We never ask for your QuickBooks password and we never sign in as you.
01Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
Use the browser you normally use, signed in as the company admin or an owner. The connection has to be authorized by someone with the authority to do it.
02Start the connection.
Use the Connect to QuickBooks link we send you at onboarding, or ask us and we will send it again. It opens Intuit's own authorization screen — not ours.
03Pick the company and approve.
Choose the right QuickBooks company from the list and approve read access. Intuit shows you exactly what is being requested before you agree to anything.
04That is it.
The daily read starts on the next scheduled run. Nothing else to install, and nothing to maintain.
05Reconnecting.
If the connection expires or you disconnected and want it back, run the same steps again. Nothing is lost — your books were never written to.
06Stuck?
Email hello@smallbusinessoperators.com and a person answers in writing, usually the same day. You'll never see a bill for asking.
